How much of your week can AI already do?

The atlas scores occupations. This scores the tasks you personally spend time on. Two people with the same job title can sit 20 points apart — inside Accountants alone, the ILO’s task scores run from 0.41 to 0.65.

Step 1

Find your occupation

427 occupations — 98% of the ISCO-08 classification — each with the task list the ILO actually scored. Everyday job titles are matched too, so “software engineer”, “virtual assistant”, “SEO” or “data scientist” all find the right group.

Nothing is sent anywhere. There is no sign-up, and the calculation runs entirely in your browser.

How the score is worked out

Every occupation in ISCO-08 is defined by a list of tasks. ILO Working Paper 140 scored 3,265 of those tasks individually for how much of them generative AI can perform — that task-level detail is what makes a personal score possible rather than a job-title lookup.

Your score is the average of your occupation’s task scores, weighted by the time you say each takes (None 0, Some 1, A lot 2, Most 3). The occupational average shown beside it is the unweighted mean — the number the atlas uses. The distance between the two is the part that is about you rather than your title.

Limits worth knowing: the ILO’s task lists are the standard ones for each occupation, so work you do outside them is invisible here; the task ratings were collected in Poland and validated internationally; and exposure is technical potential, not adoption, and not job loss.
